i can’t believe i never uploaded a picture of my ethereal shaman dice! definitely worth hanging out on the kraken dice website for 15 minutes in the library. i hope to find a good use/character for these in the near future!
Emily writes, “64oz Games is working once again to improve Braille accessibility in popular board games, this time in tabletop RPGs. This kickstarter will allow them to purchase a high resolution 3d printer to produce a polyhedral die set (D4, D6, D8, D10, D12, D20 & Percentile) with Braille as well as print numbers. This will also allow them to continue to produce high quality Braille teaching materials that improve Braille literacy world wide.”
There’s more to this than just putting Braille glyphs on the dice – they have to remain balanced! $10 gets you one die, $50 gets you a whole set. The rewards are danged cool, too, including Braille dice earrings!
Got these the other day. They’re the PolyHero Wizard set in a few colors. The black set is their first set they made, the Warrior set. They have planned the Rogue set next, followed by the Cleric set.
“The long-abandoned child of a powerful warlock, Lucerne has lived alone in The Beastlands, a strange and wild plane of existence, for as long as she can remember. More dryad than human, her sudden travel to the Prime Material Plane has left her disoriented. Her green skin, antlers, hooves, and wild demeanor draw others’ attention constantly, much to her dismay.” by hopgoblin
I wanted translucence and green and magenta and purple for Lucerne, to show her wild spirit and inherent fey nature. Two d6a here, to show wild magic of the Beastlands this dryad controls!
Lucky Hand Dice has preorders up!! In addition to the sunbeam set I love so much, they’ve added mini dice with real dried flowers and the most gorgeous blue set with gold leaf, as well as a space-themed set! Now excuse me while I go get my debit card…
My D&D dice bag design, a sleeping dragon on its hoard of golden treasure, is up for voting on fanforge! Please help it get produced by giving it 5 stars and a comment! Click here!
They’ve
asked me to make a prototype of it, and while I warned them I haven’t
made anything functional like a bag before, they want to see what I come
up with anyway. I’m pretty nervous about it, but hopefully it can
become official D&D merch!
