So around November a friend gave me a deer carcass for a project I’m in the process of cultivating. I left it hang in a tree over winter to dry out. Today, I went to take it down…but to my surprise, I found new life forming in the heart of death.

So there was a Trump rally at my school a few weeks ago. They erected a 9 foot wall outside our Union Building. In an attempt to devalue their display, I jumped over it. Just found this image of the event.

Firstly I’d like to say a wall will not be built. Logistically it simply isn’t going to happen. But on a more grave note is what the idea of the wall stands for. It stands to dehumanize a group of people. It represents the fact that there is so much more progress to be made in this country.

Tear down Trump’s imaginary wall one figurative brick at a time. We can do this.
