Storyboard to Final Product – Ladybugs first encounter with Hawkmoth
Marinette & a tiny kitty experimental animation for class. For some reason it runs super fast on quick time but super slow everywhere else. I give up trying to time this properly anymore. Was a load of fun to do though 😀
The dialogue in this scene… having Adrien trying to explain himself and failing until Marinette finally decides to look at him and listen. And she understands, she dosen’t blame him… and that makes Adrien happy, TRULY HAPPY, it’s like he can’t explain his joy but he has finally found something he likes doing (going to school, being Chat), he has finally found something that his father doesn’t control, and he laughs, he laughs with such genuineness… and Mari just follows, she laughs with him… and we’ve never seen these two so content. This shows why we’ve all come to love these two characters, in 1 or 20 episodes… their clumsiness, kindness and courage, is something that has remained with us until now, that’s why I just want to thank Thomas, for sharing these two pieces of him with us.
i like the idea of adrinette baking sessions (and adrien being the one inviting himself over)
