this shit is happening over and over again and honestly i’m getting so scared for my fellow poc. have your camera on you at all times, i’m not even joking.
the moment shit goes down you needa record it, because without that evidence they’ll always believe the white folks.
this is what i mean when i say white women have privilege over men of color. and he knew it. all he had to do was touch her, even if it was to defend his family and they’d play victim. They would and he would get arrested. It’s sad that he couldn’t help them, but i know where he is coming from. They were all powerless. This is so sad.
And this is what i mean by aggressive acts of racism done by white women. Call it as it is–this is aggressive racism. This isn’t thinly veiled or anything, these white women are being aggressive. I am tired of people acting like white women’s acts of racism, are lesser than white men’s, or are “silent” forms of racism. These past few incidents have been aggressive racist white women trageting poc.
my opinions on racism will always be limited as I’m from a position of white privilege, so whilst it’s so important to call out racial inequality and oppression when I see it, it’s also important for me to recognise that my voice should not shout over those who have actually experienced racism and have a far better understanding of how it operates then I ever will
People were calling her the japanese equivalent of the n word yet japan is obsessed with black culture and looking as black as possible…amazing
Non-black people want black culture without black people attached to it.
