So a sweet lesbian couple who have been regulars at our store for years are moving and planning on traveling and can’t take their tank and they brought us their amazing collection of plecos to put in our 40,000 gallon tank and this one was by far my favorite. It’s known as a vampire lyretail pleco and I squealed when I saw it.

I’m going to post the other things they brought us too.

The tank they had their collection in was something like 275 gallons and they were all so well taken care of. Some of these fish are probably at least fifteen years old

At every rehearsal during the 1980s and early 1990s, there were announcements about who was in which hospital room and when the next memorial was scheduled.

“I could see all these people dropping all around me, and there was no official response from any health department at any level,” said Tony McIntosh, who joined the chorus in 1985 and lost 25 friends to AIDS. “It was maddening. The chorus gave us an outlet for all that anger and relief from the feeling that nobody in the world seemed to care.”

… not everyone did.

A lot of us did not survive Reagan and Bush.

The brain of Henry Molaison, commonly known as Patient HM. Complications from surgery to cure his epilepsy led to the development of severe anterograde amnesia. This means that he had lost the ability to form new memories. Later, he would describe his condition as being “like waking from a dream…every day is alone in itself”.

“Lie close,” Laura said,
Pricking up her golden head:
“We must not look at goblin men,
We must not buy their fruits:
Who knows upon what soil they fed
Their hungry thirsty roots?”

Everyone loved it! So many hugs and all the petting at #MAGFest. My personal favorite was when a guy asked to get a photo of me stepping on him. I later titled it “you don’t have enough badges!” The #snorlax is EVA foam shape, aluminum flat bar and a hiking backpack to hold it up, faux fur and some worbla for the teeth and claws. The build was based off of tested’s Rancor build and took roughly two months to build. You can see full progress on my Facebook page, Black Meadow Studio

I can’t reblog the post about the Pepsi logo redesign document for some reason so here it is

go look at it and be dumbfounded

>goes from circle aesthetic (reasonable) to the mathematical precision and taoist symbolism contained within the logo on a soda

>Straight up dives into the golden ratio, then makes golden ratios within golden ratios to form a collage of golden ratios within the strokes of a logo on a soda

>Subliminal Car and Carriage imagery, implying both progress and fairy tail fantasy. In a logo on a soda

>Fucking configurations of the universe, the rotation of the planets, all encapsulated in a logo on a soda

>THE CURVATURE OF THE HUMAN MIND AND HIS RELATION TO THE COSMOS. ENCAPSULATED IN A LOGO. ON. A . SODA

Wait, is this what that fucking Lemon Demon song is about?
